1. Who we are

WorkShield AU ("we", "us", "our") operates the WorkShield AU platform (workshield.com.au). We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs 1–13).

2. Data we collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide our services:

• Account information: email address, hashed password, state, industry
• Employment documents you choose to upload (encrypted)
• Workplace issues and evidence you record
• AI conversation history
• Audit logs of actions taken within your account

3. How we use your data

Your data is used only for the stated purposes of the platform (APP 6). We do not sell data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

4. Data storage and security

All data is stored exclusively in AWS ap-southeast-2 (Sydney, Australia). Documents are encrypted with AES-256-GCM. All connections use TLS 1.3.

5. Your rights

• Access — request a copy of your data at any time (APP 12)
• Correction — update your data at any time (APP 13)
• Erasure — request permanent deletion within 30 days
• Portability — export your data as JSON or PDF

6. Notifiable Data Breaches

In the event of an eligible data breach under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme, we will notify the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) and affected individuals as required by law.
