By accessing or using the WorkShield AU platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. About WorkShield AU

WorkShield AU (ABN 88 983 739 130) operates an AI-powered workplace guidance and document management platform for Australian workers and employers. The Service is provided at workshieldau.com.

2. Not Legal Advice

WorkShield AU provides general information only. Nothing on this platform constitutes legal advice, nor does use of the platform create a solicitor-client relationship. For matters requiring legal representation, consult a qualified Australian employment lawyer.

3. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older and located in Australia to use the Service. By creating an account you confirm you meet these requirements.

4. Your Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials.
• You must not share your account with others.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• Notify us immediately at hello@workshieldau.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload documents or content you do not have the right to share
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or exploit any part of the platform
• Use Ally to harass, defame, or harm any individual

6. Subscriptions and Billing

• Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. All prices are in AUD and include GST where applicable.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Founder pricing ($7/month) is locked for life for the first 200 subscribers, provided the subscription remains continuously active. Cancellation forfeits the founder rate.
• We reserve the right to change pricing for new subscribers with 30 days' notice.

7. Your Data

You retain full ownership of all documents and content you upload. We process your data solely to provide the Service. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

8. AI-Generated Content

Ally (WorkShield AU's AI Workplace Advisor) generates responses based on your inputs and Australian employment law sources. AI responses may contain errors or omissions. You should independently verify any information before acting on it. WorkShield AU is not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated content.

9. Intellectual Property

All platform code, design, and content (excluding your uploaded documents) is owned by WorkShield AU. You may not reproduce or distribute any part of the platform without written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, WorkShield AU's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
